How it works

On this page you'll find everything you need to get your Auralis up and running in under 5 minutes — and answers to every question we've heard from families before you.

Getting Started with Auralis

User Guide

Everything you need to know — in plain English.

Before you start, four things to know:

· Single button — the whole band runs on one side button.
· Hold to confirm — almost every setting is saved with a 3-second long press.
· Idle timeout — the screen returns to the time view after ~5 seconds.
· Reset anytime — go back to the time screen to restart any setup step.

We've got you covered.

Questions?

I just received my band and there's no charger in the box. Where is it?

That's expected — the Auralis is designed to charge from any USB-A port you already own (laptop, phone wall plug, power bank, computer). To charge it, simply pop the small electronic core out of the silicone strap and plug it in directly. We chose not to include a separate charger by default to keep the box light and avoid sending you another cable you don't need. (A branded low-voltage charger is available as an optional upgrade if you want to maximize battery longevity.)

The alarm doesn't wake me up. What should I do?

Three things to try, in this order:

1. Set 3 alarms instead of 1. Space them 5–10 minutes apart. This works because heavy sleepers (especially ADHD brains) habituate to repeated signals — varying the pattern bypasses that filter.
2. Reposition the band. Try wearing it tighter, or move it to the ankle. Vibration depends on skin contact.
3. Check the battery. A nearly-empty battery delivers a weaker pulse. Plug it in for 30 minutes and try again the next night.

If you've tried all three and it's still not waking you up, contact us — we'll either replace the unit or refund you under our 100-night guarantee.

How long does the vibration last when the alarm goes off?

Roughly 2 minutes, then the band stops automatically. There's no buzzer or sound — only the haptic pulse on your wrist.

Can I snooze the alarm?

There's no traditional snooze button — and that's intentional. Snoozing fragments your sleep cycle and makes mornings harder, not easier. Instead, the band supports up to 3 alarms, which you can space however you like (3 minutes apart for very heavy sleepers, 10 minutes apart for normal mornings). Same flexibility, without the brain fog snoozing causes.

Why is my screen showing letters or numbers I don't recognize?

The screen cycles through three views:

· Time (default — e.g. 08:42)
· Date (e.g. 05-29 for May 29)
· Alarm slots (A1OF / A2OF / A3OF = Alarm 1/2/3 currently OFF, or the alarm time if ON)

If you ever feel lost, just wait 5 seconds without pressing anything — the screen returns to the live time.

Can I turn the alarm off for one day only?

Yes. Press the button to navigate to the relevant alarm slot (A1OF, A2OF, etc.) and long-press 3 seconds to toggle it off. You can switch it back on the next evening with the same gesture. There's no "vacation mode" — toggling each alarm manually is by design (more reliable, no accidental disabling).

Is the band safe? Does it use any electric current or shock?

No. The Auralis uses a gentle physical vibration — a tiny motor pulses, the same way your phone does when you get a notification. There is no electric current applied to the skin. It's completely safe for teens, adults, sensitive skin, and people with pacemakers (no electromagnetic interference).

Does it fit adults? My wrist is large/small.

Yes — the silicone strap is adjustable and fits wrist sizes from approximately 5.5″ (140mm) to 8.5″ (215mm). It works for kids age 8+, teens, and adults including larger wrists. If you're between sizes, size up.

Does it need an app, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth?

No. The band is fully standalone. No app to download, no account to create, no phone pairing, no Wi-Fi network needed. You set the time and alarms directly on the band with the single side button. We made this choice deliberately — no software updates, no subscriptions, no privacy concerns, and the band keeps working even if your phone dies.

How long does the battery last?

About 15 days on a single 30-minute charge, with daily use. Heavy users (multiple alarms set every day) may see closer to 10 days. The light flashes when it's time to recharge.

Is it waterproof? Can I shower with it?

The band is splash-resistant — handwashing, sweat, light rain, and the occasional rinse under the tap are fine. It's not designed for swimming or extended shower use. When in doubt, take it off — silicone dries instantly.

Where is my order? I haven't received tracking yet.

If you ordered in the last 48 hours, tracking is on its way — we batch dispatch in the morning USA time. Once it's live, you'll receive an email with a tracking link. You can also check the status anytime at Track your order. If it's been more than 5 days without tracking, contact us and we'll look up your order manually within 24 hours.

My package arrived damaged or something's missing. What now?

We're sorry — that's on us. Contact us with a photo of the box and the issue, and we'll either replace the missing/damaged item or refund you. No back-and-forth — usually resolved in one email.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Try it for up to 100 nights. If it's not the right fit — for any reason — contact us for a full refund. No long forms, no "prove it didn't work" hoops. We know wake bands aren't for everyone, and we'd rather have a happy non-customer than a frustrated one.
